Which Entry Ports Can I Use with an Ivory Coast e-Visa?
The Ivory Coast e-Visa is a convenient and efficient way to obtain permission for entry into the country. The Côte d'Ivoire e-visa can exclusively be used for entry at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (also known as Port Bouet Airport) in Abidjan. This is the sole authorized entry point for e-Visa holders.
Upon arrival, you’ll need to present your approved e-Visa pre-enrollment document and complete biometric enrollment to receive the physical visa.
If you opt to arrive in Ivory Coast through a different entry point via land border crossings or seaports, your e-visa will not be valid. In this case, you will be required to obtain a standard visa, typically through an Ivorian embassy or consulate.
Important Notes:
Print a copy of your e-Visa (or have it on your phone) for immigration.
To ensure a seamless and compliant entry into the Ivory Coast, it is advisable to verify the most current information and entry prerequisites. This will enable you to plan your entry with confidence, adhering to the country's visa requirements.
